GOOD COMMENTARY
25.05.08, 2:50pm
I live in a 1930s council house.
The new breed of eco-homes are expected to have, among other things, triple-glazed windows. Most of the houses on my estate do not even have double-glazing, and many of them are lived in by people on low incomes who struggle to meet rising fuel bills.
Instead of obsessing on headline-grabbing schemes, the govt should make a priority of putting triple-glazing into our existing housing stock.
