Brrrrrh! Brass monkeys!

Published: Wednesday July 8,2009 by Harveymiff

A friend of mine married a chap from Maine, USA and she said that they cannot bury bodies between November and March because the ground is too hard to dig.

Give me the English Riviera any day. Mind you, in Cornwall, they consider Welsh as honorary Cornishman! Years ago, I purchased a Welsh passport for a laugh and gave it to a workmate of mine. Being a dour Welshman, he gave me an old fashioned look but had a grin about it anyway.

On Youtube, I heard what was described to me as the Cornish anthem being sung. I always thought the Cornish anthem was Trelawny but this song was the Cornish version of "Land of my Fathers" with the word "Kernow" in place of the "Wales" word. Forgive me for for my ignorance for the correct word.
