SandieL talking of Stats .. i will give you some ' stats 'which have not been manipulated or corrupted by the goverment .

In 1980 at Vauxhall in luton ( not the van plant) the work force was 30,000 plus .. now , closed and raised to the ground .

Renault in Dunstable Bedfordshire , 7000 .. now empty and desolate .

Bedford trucks Bedfordshire Dunstable .. 6000 ... now , raised to the ground .

IBC vehicles ( Former Bedford commercial ISUZU ) 10,000 + now 1,200 and on the brink .

Elesmere port Cheshire ... god knows . but now on the brink !

Manufacturing in the united Kingdom is dead and buried .. and the finacial instititions close to collapse .. so who in there own minds who are not torn apart form utter and unconditional jealousy have the audacity to question those like me who took the ultimate and brave step of upping sticks and leaving loved ones behind for the want and desire of a better and secure life ?

No one knocked on my door and gave me anything but grief whilst i lived in the UK , those like me are to be congratulated and are beacons of hope for those who are left behind .
